AMI Test Demonstration

Request for Empanelment (RFE) for participation in RDSS AMISP tenders for providing Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) prepaid Solution after successful demonstration

 Request for Empanelment (RFE)-older version had been floated by REC at the behest of Ministry of Power, for empanelment of interested bidders for providing Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) prepaid Solution under Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

Also, RFE Pre-Submission Meeting was held to understand the queries of prospective bidders on Thursday, 17^th March 2022, 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM

In view of the queries and suggestions received, the prospective bidders are advised to prepare and submit their applications on the revised Request for Empanelment (RFE)-latest / current version. Also, amendment-1 and amendment-2 to this version to be referred for formulation of application by the interested applicants.

The phase–II for applications submission is now open. In case any bidder still intends to participate in demonstration of AMI solutions for getting empanelment certificate, then the application may be submitted in line with the RFE floated on 21.04.2022 along-with amendments published on 04.05.2022 and 22.06.2023.

In addition to hard copy submission as outlined in the RFE, the bidders are advised to make soft copy submission of their applications on the email testbedempanelment@gmail.com with the subject “AMI Test Bed – <company name>”

The Competent Authority has approved the extension of validityof the issued empanelment certificates for another 24 months. The extended validity of certificates of the empanelled firms can be checked from here: Extension of Validity of Empanelment Certificates.
