REC Foundation Honoured for Contribution to National Cultural Fund

New Delhi: REC Foundation, CSR arm of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, received the CSR Award from the National Cultural Fund (NCF), Ministry of Culture on January 17, 2025. The award was presented at an event organized by the Department of Public Enterprises in recognition of REC’s significant contributions to the NCF.
The award was received by Sh. Pradeep Fellows, ED, CSR, REC Ltd. in presence of other senior REC officials.
This recognition highlights REC Limited’s unwavering commitment to preserving India’s rich cultural heritage and empowering communities through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Under its CSR program, REC Limited extended financial support to enhance the upskilling of women artisans and craftswomen in Gujarat. This initiative aims to provide sustainable livelihoods while fostering the preservation and growth of traditional art forms. By equipping these talented women with advanced skills and resources, REC has created avenues for economic independence and ensured that cultural craftsmanship continues to thrive for future generations.
