Shri Virender Kumar Adhana, CVO

Shri Virender Kumar Adhana, a 1998 batch officer of Indian Ordnance Factories Service(IOFS) has assumed the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at REC Limited (RECL) on 16th Sept’ 2022.

He has done B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Warangal. He has also done Post Graduation Programme in Public Management & Policy (PGP-PMP) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. On qualifying through Indian Engineering Service (IES), he joined Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) cadre in Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence in the year 1999. He has worked in various capacities in Materials Management Department, Strategic Planning, Policy and Finance. He also worked as Director in Ministry of Defence from Sept 2015 to Sept 2022.

Prior to his present assignment, he worked as Director (Acquisition) in Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.
